Why it's still processing
- Standard processing on evisa.gov.vn takes about 7–10 working days, longer around weekends, holidays and peak season.
- A blurry photo or passport scan can leave an application waiting. See photo rules.
- A second application for the same passport usually makes things slower, not faster.
Time difference
Vietnam is 11 to 15 hours ahead of Canada, depending on your province. Evening in Toronto is already the next morning in Vietnam. Speed-up times are in Vietnam time, so tell me your flight time and I'll pick the option that gets your e-visa before you board.
FAQ
My Vietnam e-visa is still processing and I fly soon (Canadian passport). What can I do?
Don't apply again. Send Paul your registration code (starts with E) and the email you used on WhatsApp at +84 369 287 987. He can speed up the same application from 1 hour on weekdays, or by 18:00 at weekends, and you pay only his service fee.
My e-visa is still processing and I fly to Vietnam in 2 days (Canadian passport). Will it be ready?
Not on its own, as standard processing takes about 7–10 working days. Ask Paul to speed it up with Urgent 1 day and the result comes by 18:00 the next working day. If those days are a weekend, use the weekend emergency.
How long does a Vietnam e-visa usually take?
About 7–10 working days for standard processing on evisa.gov.vn, sometimes longer in peak season.
Should I submit a new e-visa application?
No. A second application for the same passport can delay both. Speed up the one you already have.
Do I pay the government fee again to speed it up?
No. You already paid it on the portal. You pay only the service fee, from $39.
What if my e-visa is refused after speeding it up?
Paul refunds his service fee in full. The government fee paid on the portal is not refundable.
