Why your e-visa is still processing
Vietnam Immigration usually takes 7–10 working days to process a standard e-visa. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Vietnamese public holidays. Applications often take longer when:
- you applied just before a weekend or a public holiday;
- it is a busy period (December–February, Lunar New Year, summer holidays);
- the photo or passport scan is unclear and the officer has to check it again;
- a detail doesn't match your passport.
"Still processing" does not mean it will be refused. It only means nobody has finished your file yet.
How to speed up a pending Vietnam e-visa
- Find your e-visa code. It starts with E and is in the confirmation email from evisa.gov.vn.
- Send me the code and the email address you used on WhatsApp, or use the "Speed it up" form.
- I check the application for problems before anything else. If something is wrong, I tell you before you pay.
- Choose how fast you need it (table below) and pay the service fee.
- You receive the e-visa PDF by email and WhatsApp, the same document as from the official portal.
On the application form, enter the code PAUL in "Add Your Coupon" so I follow your file personally.
Speed-up options and prices
Prices in USD. For a pending application you pay only the service fee. Times are Vietnam time (GMT+7).
| Option | Guaranteed result | Service fee |
|---|---|---|
| Emergency 1 hour | 1 hour after you apply (Mon–Fri, apply 8:00–10:30) | $199 |
| Urgent 4 hours | Before 8:00 → by 12:00 · before 14:00 → by 18:00 | $79 |
| Urgent 1 day | 18:00 the next working day | $69 |
| Urgent 2 days | 18:00 on the 2nd working day | $49 |
| Urgent 3 days | 18:00 on the 3rd working day | $39 |
| Weekend emergency | Result by 18:00 Saturday or Sunday (from Friday 18:00; on weekends apply before 14:00) | $199 |
Passport holders from Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Türkiye pay a $20 surcharge. If your last exit from Vietnam was through a land border or seaport, ask me first: urgent processing may not be possible.
Don't do this
- Don't apply a second time on evisa.gov.vn. Two open applications for the same passport can slow both down or cause a refusal.
- Don't fly hoping it arrives in the air. Airlines check your e-visa before boarding.
- Don't pay anyone who "guarantees approval". Only Vietnam Immigration decides. What an urgent service guarantees is when you get the answer.
FAQ
My Vietnam e-visa has been processing for more than 3 working days. Is that normal?
Yes. Standard processing usually takes 7–10 working days, longer around weekends, holidays and peak season. If your flight is close, you can speed up the same application instead of waiting.
Can I speed up an e-visa I applied for myself on evisa.gov.vn?
Yes. Send me the e-visa code (it starts with E) and the email you used. You pay only the service fee, from $39 for 3 working days to $199 for 1 hour.
Should I submit a new application?
No. A second application for the same passport can delay both. Speed up the one you already have.
How do I check my Vietnam e-visa status?
On evisa.gov.vn, choose "Check status" and enter your e-visa code, email and date of birth. If you applied through me, I send you updates on WhatsApp.
Can you guarantee my e-visa will be approved?
No one can. Only Vietnam Immigration decides. Urgent processing guarantees the time you get the result, not the result itself. If something in your file looks risky, I tell you before you pay.
My status says "processing" and I fly tomorrow. What should I do?
Message me now with your E-code. On a working day, the 1-hour or 4-hour option usually gets the result before your flight. On a weekend, use the weekend emergency option.
