What you need
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date, with at least 2 blank pages
- A clear passport-style photo (white background, no glasses)
- A scan or photo of your passport information page
- Your planned arrival date and entry airport or border gate (see all e-visa airports)
Common mistakes I fix for Indian applicants
- Name order: given name and surname swapped, or a missing surname (common when the passport shows only a given name). The e-visa must match the passport exactly.
- Wrong entry port: applying for Hanoi but landing in Ho Chi Minh City or Da Nang.
- Photo rejected: shadows, a coloured background or a cropped head.
- Wrong dates: the visa's validity doesn't cover the whole trip.
Why apply with Paul instead of the official portal?
You can apply yourself on the official website evisa.gov.vn. Use me if you want a real person to check everything, a reply within an hour on WhatsApp, urgent processing, or help when an application is stuck.
