Already at the airport? Message me before you check in, and see what to do at the airport. If your e-visa can't be ready before boarding, I'll tell you straight away so you can change your flight.
Time difference
Vietnam is 3 hours ahead of the UAE. When it is 10:30am in Vietnam, it is 7:30am in Dubai. Urgent results are timed in Vietnam time, so tell me your flight time in your own time zone and I'll work it out for you.
Don't do this
- Don't fly hoping for a visa on arrival. Without an e-visa or approval letter, the airline can refuse to board you.
- Don't submit a second application if you already applied on evisa.gov.vn. I can speed up the one you have.
- Don't guess the entry date. It must be on or before your arrival date. See arriving early.
FAQ
I have a flight to Vietnam tomorrow but no e-visa (UAE passport). What can I do?
Apply for an urgent e-visa now. With Paul it can be ready in 1 hour on weekdays (apply before 10:30 Vietnam time), in 4 hours, or by 18:00 at weekends. If your flight leaves before the result, you get a free approval letter for check-in. Message Paul on WhatsApp at +84 369 287 987.
Do UAE citizens need a visa for Vietnam?
Yes. UAE passport holders are not visa-exempt and need an e-visa, valid for up to 90 days.
I'm already at the airport with a UAE passport and no Vietnam e-visa. Can I still fly?
Message Paul on WhatsApp before you check in. On weekdays an emergency e-visa can be ready in 1 hour if you apply before 10:30 Vietnam time, and you get a free approval letter for check-in. If it can't be ready before boarding, Paul tells you straight away so you can change your flight.
I fly to Vietnam in 2 days and have no e-visa. Is that enough time?
Yes. Choose Urgent 1 day and the e-visa comes by 18:00 the next working day. If those days fall on a weekend, use the weekend emergency instead.
Can I get a visa on arrival at the airport instead?
Not without arranging it first. You need an approved e-visa or an approval letter before you fly, or the airline may refuse to board you.
What if my e-visa isn't ready when I check in?
With any urgent option, Paul gives you a free approval letter for check-in, and your e-visa is finished while you fly.
How much does an urgent Vietnam e-visa cost?
From $94 for a 1-day result, $104 for 4 hours, and $224 for 1 hour or the weekend emergency, government fee included.
