- Passport valid for less than 6 months from your entry date
- Address or purpose left vague, or a hotel address that doesn't exist
- Past immigration issues, such as an earlier overstay
What to do now
- Check your refusal email and your application against your passport, line by line.
- Fix the likely cause: take a new photo, rescan the passport, correct the details.
- Apply again. There is no waiting period. If your flight is soon, choose an urgent option.

Refused more than once?
A second refusal with the same details usually means the problem is not the photo. For some nationalities I arrange a visa approval letter instead of an e-visa. Message me before you apply a third time.

Vietnam Immigration does not give a reason. The most common causes are an unclear portrait photo, a poor passport scan, or details that don't match the passport exactly.
Can I reapply after my Vietnam e-visa is refused?
Yes, straight away. There is no waiting period. Fix the likely problem first, for example a new photo or corrected details.
Is the e-visa fee refunded if I'm refused?
If you applied yourself on evisa.gov.vn, no: the government fee is not refunded. If Paul submitted your application, you get a 100% refund, government fee included. If Paul only sped up your own application, his service fee is refunded in full, but the government fee you paid on the portal is not.
How fast can I get a new e-visa after a refusal?
With urgent processing, from 1 hour on weekdays, or by 18:00 on Saturday and Sunday with the weekend option.
